Activision hasn't officially announced that we'll be getting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III later this year yet, but there have been a plethora of reports and rumours that all suggest that the game will be coming this year, despite Activision seemingly being interested in supporting Modern Warfare II as its main Call of Duty game for a couple of years originally.
To add fuel to this rumour fire, Dexerto now reports that Call of Duty League teams have already been tasked with creating Operator skins and cosmetics for Modern Warfare III, all so that the game can support CDL assets when it launches. These skins are claimed to have customisable elements, but that the customisable parts will be limited and only on certain parts of the Operator models.
The additional cosmetic parts are said to include weapon charms, but while there are no confirmed notes of blueprints making the cut, it would seem unusual if Activision didn't also lean on these.
There is no official word on whether Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be coming this year, but the rumours and reports alleging its existence claim it will be arriving in November.
